Puente English Academy is an ESL academy specializing in working with Spanish-speaking clients. Its distinctive approach asks instructors to keep learning too, including training in culture, linguistics, and TEFL strategies.
Our Story
The program began from an English-teacher training pathway. Students working toward TEFL teaching hours shared resources and discovered common interests in language, culture, and effective instruction.
The team found that a successful program should be informed by grammar, focused on each individual student, and grounded in mutual effort. That last principle became the Bridge Mindset.
Our Expertise
Puente describes its instructors as TEFL-certified and C2 or native English speakers, with at least B1 Spanish proficiency. Continued education on cultural patterns and teaching methods supports their approach.
